Overview
Jami focuses her practice on tax, business, real estate, estate planning, and probate matters. She is graduate of FSU's College of Law, and in 2009, she earned her Master of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. In addition to her practice, Jami was an adjunct tax professor at Florida A&M University School of Business where she taught corporate and federal income tax to undergraduate students. She volunteers with Legal Services of North Florida, Legal Aid Foundation, and FSU Veterans Clinic where she assists low-income taxpayers in resolving disputes with the IRS as well as other civil matters. She is a past president of the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee, sits on the Board with Tallahassee Bar Association, the board of the LeMoyne Art Center, George Floyd Memorial Foundation, as well as other non-profits. Jami is a Class III fellow with the Wm. Reece Smith Florida Bar Leadership Academy and a past fellow with RPPTL Section of the Florida Bar. Jami sits on the Florida Bar's Probate Rules Committee, Advertising Grievance Committee and is an ALM with the Florida Bar's Real Property Probate Trust Litigation Section, and active member with the Florida Bar's Tax Section . Jami is recognized as a 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Rising Star with Florida Super Lawyers, was awarded the Tallahassee Bar Association's 2017 Thomas M. Ervin, Jr. Distinguished Young Lawyer Award, and the 2016 Nation's Best Advocate Under 40 by the National Bar Association. She was the cover and featured story in the 2017 August/September Edition of Tallahassee Women Magazine and featured in the FSU College of Law Alumni Magazine. But Jami's most notable accomplishments are her beautiful children.
