Cat has a Master's Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University, and was previously employed as a certified speech-language pathologist in both the private and public sectors prior to becoming an attorney. Cat also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Texas Tech University. Cat has completed the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's mediation training requirements pursuant to Rule 8 of the Uniform Rules on Dispute Resolution.
