In his labor and employment law practice, Mr. Meyers provides advice and counsel to prospective, current and former employees who have been discriminated against in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or other state or federal laws. He also represents victims of sexual harassment, and he has assisted people who have been wrongfully terminated or otherwise retaliated against by their employer. In the personal injury and wrongful death area, Mr. Meyers represents clients who have suffered economic and noneconomic losses due to the negligence of other persons or entities in cases involving premises liability and truck and other motor vehicle accidents. His probate and administration experience has encompassed will contests and other disputes.
Mr. Meyers is admitted to practice before all Missouri and Kansas state courts. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1979, and he holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He is frequently asked to deliver presentations on trial techniques and other topics.
