Being new to the world of franchising, reading through and understanding FDD & FA documents was a daunting task to say the least. I just didn't know what I didn't know. She spent a good 3 hours on the phone with me detailing all the pertinent parts of the documents, including the information that the documents did not contain. She was quick to respond to all of my follow-up questions regardless of how early or late in the day I emailed her. I think there was one day where Kimberly was on vacation and I had a question, but not to fear as Nancy was all over it! I felt informed and prepared going into my first Discovery Day, and with Kimberly's guidance, I was even able to negotiate some of the terms of the Franchise Agreement! If you are thinking about a franchise, I highly suggest you hire a franchise specific attorney before you sign a contract. unfortunately I did not do this and paid the price in the long run.
