Mr. Guenzel has chaired or co-chaired several seminars for fellow trial attorneys through the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. He regularly presents on topics as varied as advanced trial tactics, maximizing insurance proceeds, and proving visual dysfunction resulting from traumatic brain injury.

Mr. Guenzel is a member of the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. He was recently selected as a Fellow of the Nebraska Bar Foundation.

Mr. Guenzel works to help shape legislation to protect injured parties and improve the litigation process in Nebraska. His activities include helping to draft legislation, meeting with state senators, and testifying before legislative committees.

When not advocating for his clients, Mr. Guenzel spends time with his wife and seven children. He and his family are involved at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Lincoln. Mr. Guenzel occasionally finds time for leatherworking, 19th-century literature, and sleeping.
