Janani S. Rana grew up in Northern California and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory from the University of California at San Diego. She spent a year studying abroad in London at the School of Oriental and African Studies and obtained a minor in South Asian Studies. While attending USC Gould School of Law, Janani completed family law clerkships with the Honorable Amy Pellman and Honorable Harvey Silberman of the Los Angeles Superior Court, worked as a summer and fall associate at a well-known family law firm, and interned at the Alliance for Children's Rights, Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law, and Western Center for Law & Poverty.
Prior to joining Minyard Morris, Janani was at an exclusively family law firm in Beverly Hills. Janani is certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Family Law Specialist.
Janani limits her practice to Orange County family law matters.
