Hired Law firm 2017-2021I was hit by a car and trusted this law firm to help me — but it was one of the worst decisions I’ve made. My attorney, Ramy Joudeh, pressured me to settle for way less than what my case was worth and told me not to go to court. Then he left the firm, and no one took over with any real care. I was left confused, unsupported, and in the end, I got a tiny settlement — with extra fees taken out that I never agreed to. I feel completely taken advantage of. This firm let me down when I needed them most. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Hired Law firm 2021-2023A Powerhouse Firm for a Powerhouse Result I cannot speak highly enough of Sameer Chopra and his team at Chopra & Nocerino. They were instrumental in securing a 7-figure settlement for my late elderly grandmother Josephine after a devastating accident. From the very beginning, Sameer and his team demonstrated a deep level of compassion and understanding. They took the time to explain the legal process in a way that was easy to understand and were always available to answer our questions. Their dedication to our case was unwavering. The firm's resources and expertise were invaluable. They were able to leverage their knowledge and experience to build a strong case on our behalf. Their aggressive negotiation tactics ultimately led to a settlement that exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a personal injury attorney who is not only skilled but also compassionate and dedicated, I highly recommend Sameer Chopra and Chopra & Nocerino. They are truly a powerhouse firm that delivers exceptional results.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
