Attorney Malalai Farooqi was fortunate to discover her passion for criminal law early in life. Ms. Farooqi graduated from the University of California Irvine with a bachelor's degree in both Criminology, Law and Society and Philosophy. She decided to follow her passion by accepting a scholarship to attend the University Of La Verne College Of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012. While in school, Ms. Farooqi was the Chief Executive Editor for the University of La Verne Law Review and spearheaded a nationally recognized landmark International Law Symposium on the rule of law and state building in the nation of Afghanistan.
Ms. Farooqi has also worked at the Department of State in the nation's capital as a South and Central Asian representative, helping the countries continue their efforts in pursuing democracy. She is dedicated to her clients and works tirelessly to ensure they are treated to the fair trial they deserve. She has helped hundreds of clients in a wide spectrum of criminal cases including but not limited to: murder, drug charges, DUI, vehicular manslaughter, domestic violence, sexual offenses, juvenile cases, theft and larceny, fraud, weapons and gun charges, probation violations, and white collar crimes.
Ms. Farooqi is the Managing Attorney for the San Bernardino Office, and has been with the Law Offices of Michael A. Scafiddi since 2015.
