Ms. Hennessey’s practice centers on complex business litigation, especially contract, trade secret, unfair competition, and intellectual property disputes. She is experienced in representing corporate plaintiffs and defendants across a broad range of industries, including technology, communications, manufacturing, and clean energy, during all stages of civil litigation. Ms. Hennessey joins FITCH after serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Rya W. Zobel of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to that, she was engaged in private practice.
Ms. Hennessey joins FITCH after four years at Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle, WA. There she litigated high-stakes commercial matters in federal and state court, including issues of antitrust, trade secret, patent, contract and constitutional law.
In law school, Ms. Hennessey was the Executive Note Editor of the Boston College Law Review and her published Note won the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law’s Student Writing Competition. Currently, Ms. Hennessey serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Legal Research and Writing at New England School of Law, where she strives to share her passion for legal writing with the next generation of lawyers.
Ms. Hennessey is also committed to pro bono work, focusing her efforts on immigration issues. For example, she partnered with the ACLU to bring a class action challenging the constitutionality of a federal immigration benefit vetting program. And, as a volunteer attorney for Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), she represented several unaccompanied minors before state and immigration court, successfully qualifying her clients for federal immigration relief.

- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
