Attorney Matthew W. Krupke joined Kashfian & Kashfian, LLP in order to provide the firms clients expert counsel with regard to general litigation, administrative and regulatory matters. Mr. Krupke’s area of expertise is primarily in the area of administrative law and proceedings. Mr. Krupke received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and later, a second Bachelor’s degree in Moving Image Arts from the College of Santa Fe. After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Krupke began work as a medical technician. Following several years of working in the medical field, Mr. Krupke decided to depart from the medical profession, to enter in the film industry. Thereafter, he began his work as an armorer and firearms safety advisor.
While working as an experienced and seasoned armorer and weapons specialist, Mr. Krupke constantly dealt with complex regulatory compliance issues with regards to firearms and appropriate safety standards. Impassioned about the intricacies and particulars associated with regulatory and administrative law, Mr. Krupke decided to enter law school, so that he could better advise his clients and broaden his understanding when approaching various issues. Mr. Krupke completed his Juris Doctorate in two years at Southwestern Law School’s competitive SCALE program. While in law school, Mr. Krupke maintained his work connections in the firearms industry. He was also a clerk for the in-house counsel of an international sporting goods corporation. During his clerkship, Mr. Krupke dealt primarily with trademark issues as well as product safety compliance in foreign markets.
Mr. Krupke utilizes the skills he has attained, from both his educational background to his varied work experience, in order to achieve the best possible results for his clients. He is recognized as an intelligent and rational counselor, helping businesses plan for and meet their trademark and regulatory compliance needs.
A native Californian, Mr. Krupke currently consults for a variety of industry leaders in the small arms industry. Additionally, he is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association and the National Firearms Act Trade and Collectors Association. Mr. Krupke is admitted to practice before the state courts of California, Arizona and U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He lives in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
