Ani is a senior associate attorney at Bowles & Verna LLP. Ani brings many years of legal experience to her practice, including four years as a paralegal prior to law school. Ani focuses her practice in general civil litigation, real estate, business, and trust litigation.
During law school, Ani clerked for the Honorable Joseph Quinn at the San Francisco Superior Court. Ani was one of twelve students selected to teach legal research and writing to first-year law students, as well as training and preparing those students for mock trial. In her last year of law school, Ani was appointed Symposium Editor and Articles Editor for the USF Law Review, Volume 51. Ani graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law as a member of the McAuliffe Academic Honors Society, representing the top 20% of the graduating class.
In her career, Ani has successfully prosecuted a breach of contract and fraud action, obtaining a judgment after trial for the full contract amount and an award of punitive damages against the defendant, double the amount of the contract damages. Ani also won an appeal on the merits after obtaining a favorable judgment for her client.
Ani is an active member of the Robert G. McGrath Inns of the Court and the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
When she is not in the office, Ani and her husband can be found hiking in the East Bay Open Spaces with her dog, Montana, or tending to her vegetable and succulent gardens.
