In the spring of 2019, King Law’s owners purchased the former BB&T Bank building located on Butler Road in Forest City with the intentions of making this location the firm’s new corporate headquarters. After many months of planning, construction and upgrades, the firm moved into the new space in early October 2019. This facility houses the firm’s Rutherford County legal team of attorneys and case managers, client relations team, accounting department, IT department, and offices for the management team.
The attorneys and staff in the Forest City office serve clients from Rutherford County in the areas of family law, civil litigation, criminal law, estates, elder law, and asset protection. The firm’s managing partner, Brian W. King, is a North Carolina Family Law Specialist. Under Attorney King’s leadership the team at King Law is prepared to take on your complex divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, and alimony matter. Attorney John B. Crotts, also a managing partner, leads the team in the areas of estate planning, advanced directives, such as wills and powers of attorney, long term care planning, and asset protection services. King Law represents business owners from across the Carolinas, numerous municipalities, and local government officials. Our attorneys can also be found fighting for clients charged with both misdemeanor and felony crimes, including drug, DUI, and murder charges.

Depending on the time of your call, we will do our best to meet with you the same day or within twenty-four business hours of your initial contact. Our Forest City team works to make sure that we have client service representatives and on-site consultation specialists and case managers to offer coverage and quick access so that your questions can be answered.
The Forest City office is conveniently located on Butler Road, just off of Highway 74A, across from Verizon Wireless. This location is a single level building, handicap accessible, with free ample parking spaces by the main entrance.
