Simi Valley Worker’s Compensation Lawyer
Overview
Larisa Mortazavi is a senior attorney of Rossi Law Group, and is based in the Simi Valley office. She began working with the firm through the Workers' Compensation Department of Crandall Wade & Lowe, and moved to Rossi Law Group at its inception at the beginning of 2012.
Larisa handles cases-in-chief, as well as lien claims. She represents various self insured employers, third party administrators, and insurance companies, and works to aggressively defend these parties in cases brought by allegedly injured workers. Larisa handles cases in several WCAB offices in the Southern California area, including: Oxnard, Van Nuys, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Long Beach, Marina Del Rey, Pomona, Riverside, and San Bernardino. In addition to workers' compensation claims, Larisa has worked as general counsel to a private nonprofit foundation established for the benefit of children and environmental activism.
After receiving her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Larisa went on to graduate from the USC School of Law. During her time there, she served on the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and completed an international law program in comparative labor and employment law while studying in Budapest, Hungary and Prague, Czech Republic.
