Emily did absolutely amazing and diligent work to exonerate my brother in law, Joey. She believed in him when not many, who weren?t family, did. She worked hard to assure he had a fair trial and a fighting chance; and he won.

Emily was absolutely amazing! She took on our case and was one of very few who believed in our brother's innocence. We had to go through three lawyers before finding Emily. She worked countless hours to build a proper defense even long after everyone else called it a day. Emily always stayed connected to make sure my brother and our family were well informed of what was happening and what her plan was. She gave my brother the freedom he deserved after so long.

Emily is a terrific defense attorney. Very detail oriented, thorough, and professional. Treats her clients and their families with respect and courtesy. Always willing to go the extra mile and put in the extra time.

If you're looking for results EMILY is the right lawyer for you! Emily protected my freedom and proved my innocence. She is the only attorney I trust to get the job done. She's also the only attorney I've seen out WIT a DA in a kind and professional manner. If not for Emily I would be behind bars and I would not have any rights to be with my son. (she doesnt do family law my case was tied into others) . My family/friends and myself all have her card in our wallets because you never know when you need an attorney. Emilys pricing is by far the best I've seen. Going to court can be real scarry. Not knowing whats going on, dont know what to say, or even whats going to happen next. Emily helped me through every step and made things as comfortable as possible. Nothing is worse then not knowing, but having someone who knows what they're doing will put you at ease. Do yourself a favor and give her a ring I promise you wont regret it.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
