She also interned at the Orange County District Attorney's Office and was awarded a Public Justice Foundation Fellowship for the Summer of 2018. Further, Ms. Scalia was a committee member of Hofstra's Veterans Legal Assistant Project, which focuses on assisting veterans with any legal burdens they encounter.
Prior to receiving her Juris Doctor, Ms. Scalia graduated magna cum laude from Marist College in 2015 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Pre-Law studies. During her college years, she worked at the Dutchess County Public Defender's Office and interned at the Dutchess County Family Court. Upon graduation, Ms. Scalia excelled as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm for two years. She has been with the firm since April 2021.
