I would not hire anyone else to represent my family. Lester is straight forward and honest. He comes from personal experience and has tons of work experience as well. You want this attorney on your side!

I was referred to Lester Reed as a divorce attorney and I am very thankful for that. I was going through a very difficult time and I wasn?t sure who to choose. I had many questions, and he always made himself available. I really feel that he genuinely cares about his clients and their well-being. He prepared me over what was to be expected at each step of the divorce process. It can be very hard going through each phase as they come, but he is always there to guide you. Also, his assistant Anne, is very kind and knowledgeable. I needed help with something, and she was very responsive and took care of it right away! I highly recommend anyone choosing Lester Reed as their attorney.

If you are looking for the right attorney to represent you for a family case, I 100% recommend! Always answered my questions and made sure to explain to me in detail what was going on with my case, I know how overwhelming family cases can be and how long they can take, but Lester and his team will make sure you are worry free! If I could give a 5+ star I most definitely would!!!

I hired Lester in a child custody case. Lester was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he was highly sensitive to the traumatic situation that I was experiencing. I would definitely recommend Lester.

?So thankful that I was referred to Lester Reed! The first time I called he was quick to answer and respond right away. He agreed to take my family case that had been dragging on 14 years, and successfully got it finalized! He has a wonderful and friendly staff that supports him as well! Anne, the office manager, always went above and beyond to help find answers to odd circumstances and never gave up! Thank you Lester Reed , and Your Team for working so hard to get my case resolved!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
