Alyssa G. Beard is experienced in Family and Domestic Relations Law, Juvenile Law, Criminal Law and Contract Law. Alyssa was born and raised in Utah. She attended the University of Utah for her Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences, Sociology and a Criminology Certification. Upon graduation, Alyssa began work with the Utah Division of Child and Family Services as a Social Service Worker. This further aided in Alyssa in her drive and passion in aiding those who are disadvantaged, which lead her to attend University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where she excelled in her pursuits.
During her attendance at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, Alyssa completed internships as a Law Clerk at Utah Indigent Defense Commission and later with a law firm, an internship as a law clerk assisting in the defense of clients in Federal criminal cases, and as a Student Clinician with Rocky Mountain Innocence Center.
Alyssa graduated with High Honors from the S.J. Quinney College of law, where she received recognition for her outstanding achievements such as the 2020 Outstanding Clinical Student Award for her work with the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center, a CALI award in Juvenile Law, and an OAA Award in White-Collar Crimes. As an attorney focused on Family and Domestic Relations Law and Criminal Law, Alyssa is a committed and fierce advocate for her clients' rights and interests.
