Scott Nowling is an associate trial attorney at McKeen & Associates. Prior to joining McKeen & Associates in 2022, Scott spent 27 years in sales and field sales management in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.This experience has provided Scott with deep insight into the delivery of medical care. More importantly, it gave Scott a deep respect for those who work hard to deliver proper care and resentment of those who don't.

Scott graduated from Kalamazoo College with a Bachelor of the Arts in Economics and Political Science. Scott also received an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He went on to earn his law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, Scott clerked at McKeen & Associates and interned for Justice Elizabeth Welch on the Michigan Supreme Court.In addition, he founded the Cooley "Health Law Society." Scott was ranked first in his law school class with a perfect GPA, one of 17 students in the history of the school to do so. Scott was also named the Distinguished Student of his class.

Scott and his wife Dana have two daughters. Scott has served as the President of the School Board in his community.Scott is a biker and has participated in RAGBRAI, the "Register's Great Annual Bike Ride Across Iowa" and can be found as "ThirdRowThundar" on Peloton.
