Born in the beautiful country of Panama and raised under the sunny skies of Southern California, Dahann has always understood the importance of diversity, clear communication, and the strength of family ties. Fluent in Spanish and driven by a deep passion for assisting others, she pursued her academic ambitions with a double major in Political Science and Spanish at California State University San Marcos, before advancing to law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.

Dahann's journey into family law began with an eye-opening internship at the Department of Child Support Services, where she delved into the complexities of child support and parental rights. Her experiences there, coupled with her time at various family law firms, solidified her commitment to navigating the intricate landscape of family law. Married to an Air Force veteran, Dahann is particularly attuned to the challenges faced by military families, from navigating military pay and benefits to addressing unique family support situations.

In 2022, Dahann took a bold step forward by establishing her own law office, motivated by a desire to have a direct, positive impact on the lives of her clients. Her approach to practicing law is deeply personal. Dahann selects her cases with care, ensuring that she can give each client the focused, personalized attention they deserve. To Dahann, her clients are more than just cases—they are individuals with unique stories and goals. She commits to offering clear, realistic advice and working tirelessly to align her legal strategies with their best interests.

Recognizing the critical impact that active parental guidance has on a child’s growth, Dahann’s own story is deeply influenced by her parents. Her parents taught her to be hard working and resilient. Outside the courtroom, Dahann finds joy and balance in gardening, wine tasting, enjoying UFC fights with her husband, and exploring new places. These hobbies are a testament to her zest for life and continuous learning, keeping her grounded and ready to face any new challenge with resilience and a fresh perspective.

With Dahann Bowers, you're not just choosing a lawyer—you're choosing a dedicated advocate who sees you, understands you, and is ready to fight for your family's future.

I am not NOT surprised that this specific attorney has one little to no review compare to her peers. My name is James, I am a Marine Veteran and I recently hired this attorney June(2023) As a Marine veteran, I hold integrity and commitment in high regard, values I expected to find in legal counsel, especially when dealing with sensitive matters like child support/Child Custody! Regrettably, my experience with Ms. Dahann Bowers has been nothing short of distressing and unprofessional. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY! Ms. Bowers Initially advised me on legal matters pertaining to child custody, assuring me that the total cost would NOT exceed $5,000. She then called me to reassure that the documents she was about to send encompassed everything we had agreed upon. Trusting her assurance, I proceeded to sign. ?WHEN IT COMES TO THIS ATTORNEY, READ EVERY DOCUMENTS 3X BEFORE SIGNING.? However, this changed abruptly when I received a bill, contrary to our agreed term telephonically. After sending an email reiterating our agreement not to exceed a total of $5,000, her immediate response was simply, ?it?s in the documents I sent.? At that moment, I realized my trust in Ms. Bowers had evaporated completely. Her lack of integrity was unmistakably evident. On June 28, 2023 she wrote ? Based on our conversation earlier today. I will have my office prepare subpoena for the other party bank record.? Did Ms. Bowers fulfill her promise regarding the bank subpoena? Absolutely NOT. She procrastinated until November 1, 2023, to initiate the motion. When the documents finally arrived, the return date indicated December 20, completely missing our intended deadline. On November 14, 2023, I sent an email stating ?I?m a bit confused about the subpoena document that I recently received. They mention a hearing on December 20, 2023, but I though they were to be made available for the child support hearing coming up this Thursday November 16, 2023. Can you provide some context on this subject? Less than 18 hours before our trail, after I had deposited funds into the fraudulent TRUST ACCOUNT this attorney sent me a cowardly email stating she could no longer represent me! Imagine that. *She has NOT returned my funds* Recall, on July 28, this attorney assured me that her office would promptly submit a bank subpoena to refute the opposing party claim. However, on September 8, 2023, this attorney unexpectedly sent an email requesting an urgent signature on a document. REMEMBER, ?WHEN IT COMES TO THIS ATTORNEY, READ EVERY DOCUMENT 3X BEFORE SIGNING.? I responded with an email of my own stating ? I have a question regarding child support declaration. Does agreeing to pay $834.00 a month without the bank subpoena means were giving up and not pursuing that avenue? This attorney, Dahann Bowers attempted to have me signed a document, fully aware that it would NOT align with my best interest. This incident mirrored the deceptive tactics used when I initially signed the documents to retain her counsel. Additionally, I became aware of a conflict of interest. In essence, I strongly caution anyone seeking legal counsel to reconsider engaging Dahann Bowers?s services. Her lack of commitment, professionalism, and ethical conduct reflect poorly on the legal community. Furthermore, her indifference towards our military community, evident in her dismissive response regarding a potential military discount, is disheartening. As a Marine veteran who values honesty and loyalty, I feel compelled to alert my brothers and sisters about the unbecoming conduct I experienced under Ms. Bowers?s representation. I hope this message serves as a warning to prevent others from enduring similar distressing situation. God Bless you, May God bless America and protect our service men and women which Dahann Bowers hates!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
