Kelly A. Benedict is a graduate of the Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology in 1986. She earned her J. D. at Emory University School of Law in 1990. She began her legal career representing employers and insurance companies in Workers' Compensation matters across the State of Georgia. She has handled Workers' Compensation claims on both sides in excess of thirty years. She has served as the Chairman of the State Bar of Georgia Workers' Compensation Section. She was a member of the State Board of Workers' Compensation Chairman's Advisory Council on the Rules and Mediation Committee from 1996 to 2017. Ms. Benedict is a frequent speaker at Workers' Compensation conferences and seminars.Qualifications
