Marietta Family Law Lawyer
Overview
Felix grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Florida State University summa cum laude with a degree in International Affairs and History. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa as a junior. Before law school, Felix worked at a non-profit organization in Nantes, France, helping to promote connections and cultural exchanges between the US and France, particularly by creating links between sporting associations and educational and cultural societies. This often included immersion trips or language classes; any good opportunity to compliment the cultures. He then went on to graduate from the Emory University School of Law with Honors in 2022.
Felix has experience with various facets of the law having interned with the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Hearings and Appeals, and the Georgia House Democratic Caucus.
Before being called to practice family law with The Manely Firm, Felix worked as a civil litigator representing clients in an array of matters and gaining experience advocating for the best interests of his clients. These matters often included personal injury, business disputes and constitutional right conflicts.
Felix is married to Tess Kloc, a CPA working for an Atlanta-based private wealth management firm. In his personal time, he enjoys watching soccer, collecting and learning about watches and cheering on Florida State Football.
Felix has been admitted to practice in all trial Courts in Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
