Hired Law firm 2025When I was wrongly summoned to court for a refusal of a chemical test (I passed the field sobriety tests, assessed a fine, and let go), I suddenly panicked. Was I going to lose my license? Would I have to install a device to start my car? I did a quick google search on “refusal of breathalyzer” and Marin, Barrett, and Murphy was the first law firm to pop up. It was after hours so I left a message. I was surprised and delighted a short while later when attorney Stefani Murphy called me back. I explained the circumstances and discussed my driving record with her to see if there were any real concerns. Her calm and professional demeanor immediately put me at ease. Within minutes it seemed like I was talking with an old friend! Stefani was knowledgeable, friendly, and assured me that we had a good case and not to worry. She made it so easy, and her fees were very reasonable. When she had a scheduling conflict, she rescheduled the court date so that she could represent me. She met with me a few days before as I had a few follow-up questions. After meeting Stefani in person, I was even more convinced I had made the right phone call seeking legal counsel. The morning of the court date we met at 9 AM. By 9:03 she had the most serious charges dropped! I retained only the handheld device violation with minor court costs. No loss of license, no blemishes on my record at all! Stefani really came through! Beyond being very competent, she is a joy to talk to. If I have legal problems in the future, I will definitely call Stefani - without hesitation!
