Attorney Information

Overview

Alejandro Guarin is a personal injury attorney at Pracht Injury Lawyers who represents individuals and families harmed by the negligence and misconduct of others. His practice focuses on serious injury and wrongful death cases, including car accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, and other injury claims involving insurance companies and corporations. Alejandro has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of injured clients through settlements and litigation.

Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Alejandro moved to the United States at the age of twelve and made Anderson, South Carolina his home. He remains deeply connected to his immigrant roots and has advocated for the Hispanic community at every stage of his life. Having experienced firsthand the challenges faced by working-class families, he brings a client-focused, compassionate approach to personal injury representation and is committed to helping injured people understand their rights and pursue fair compensation.

Alejandro earned his law degree from Mercer University School of Law, where he graduated in the top fifteen percent of his class. During law school, he served on the Mercer Law Review Editorial Board and competed on the Mock Trial and Arbitration teams. He was elected President of the Hispanic Law Student Association, where he worked to advance diversity and inclusion within the legal profession. His academic achievements include multiple awards for earning the highest grade in Contracts, Torts, Secured Transactions, and Remedies. He also received the Solicitor Award for excellence in arbitration advocacy, and was inducted into the Order of the Scribe for superior legal writing.

Alejandro is a published legal author and frequently writes about updates and developments in the law that impact consumers, civil rights, and injured individuals. His legal writing reflects a continued commitment to staying current on legal changes and translating complex legal issues into practical guidance for clients and the legal profession as a whole. Before joining Pracht Injury Lawyers, Alejandro practiced at a large insurance defense firm in Atlanta, Georgia, where he represented insurance companies and corporate defendants in personal injury litigation. That experience gives him a strategic understanding of how insurance adjusters and defense attorneys evaluate claims, dispute liability, and attempt to limit payouts. He now uses that insider knowledge to anticipate defense strategies and advocate aggressively for injured clients. Alejandro is known for his clear communication, thorough preparation, and a hands-on approach to personal injury cases. Outside of his legal practice, Alejandro enjoys staying active, playing soccer, and video gaming.

Alejandro is licensed to practice law in South Carolina, Georgia, and Washington, D.C.
