Christopher D. Cavazos represents individuals facing criminal charges across San Antonio and the surrounding counties. Before entering private practice, Christopher served as a state prosecutor in Atascosa County and was appointed as a special prosecutor in Wilson and Frio Counties. After completing his service with the county attorney’s office, he co-founded Barrera, Cavazos & Powers with Stephen C. Barrera and Brian T. Powers, combining 40 years of experience to defend those accused of crimes.

Christopher earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
