For the past four years, Mr. Ward has been recognized, through voting by his peers, as a Rising Star in Texas litigation by Law & Politics and Texas Monthly magazine. In 2007, Mr. Ward was profiled as a "Professional on the Fast Track" by HTexas Magazine.
Mr. Ward serves as a Captain for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Team Penning and Ranch Sorting Committee, Chair of the HBA Litigation Section, and Chair of the Associates' Roundtable for the James A. Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. Mr. Ward is active with the Institute for Energy Litigation and the Well Services Committee, in addition to other civic and professional organizations.
