Misti L. Beanland has been a partner with Matthews, Shiels, Knott, Eden, Davis & Beanland, L.L.P. since 2006 and has practiced with this firm for over 10 years. Her practice focuses primarily on construction law, bankruptcy, and landlord/tenant related litigation. She was admitted to the State Bar of Oklahoma in 1996, the State Bar of Texas in 1997, and, subsequently, to the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western U.S. District Courts. Ms. Beanland received a B.S. from Southern Nazarene University in 1993, (Magna Cum Laude) and a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1996. Ms. Beanland is a member of the Texas Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Bar Association. She currently serves as Chair of the Dallas Construction Lawyers Section of the Dallas Bar Association and is a speaker to attorneys and construction groups concerning construction law, bankruptcy, and collection issues.
