Overview
A native El Pasoan, David Nuñez graduated from Montwood High School in 2003. Shortly after, David enlisted as an infantryman in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and completed two combat deployments to Iraq in 2006 and 2007-08. After being honorably discharged in 2009, he continued his educational ambitions at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2012. Afterwards, David applied and was accepted into law school at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. Following graduation, David decided to return to his hometown and accepted a position as an Assistant District Attorney with the El Paso District Attorney's Office, where he gained invaluable legal advocacy skills after taking part in numerous trials and hearings.
In November 2021, David accepted an offer as an associate attorney with the Valenzuela Law Firm, using his legal experience to continue the firm's tradition of providing the El Paso community with exceptional legal representation. On top of his regular duties, his work also includes the handling of complex white collar state and federal cases.
