Matt received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from Abilene Christian University and his Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School, where he made the Dean’s List, the Order of the Barristers, and earned the highest grade in Advanced Criminal Practice & Procedure.
Matt has consistently recovered some of the largest verdicts and settlements in history for his clients, which has distinguished him as one of the Top 100 Plaintiff Lawyers in Texas by the National Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a Thompson Reuters publication.
He lives in Houston with his wife, Anna, who's also a trial lawyer, and their children, Emma and Ben
