Board-Certified Personal Injury Lawyer Michael P. Fleming, former Harris County Attorney, has been a practicing attorney in the Houston area for over 25 years. His background includes having previously served as the elected County Attorney for Harris County, Texas. Mr. Fleming was elected Harris County Attorney in 1996 and re-elected in 2000.
As a practicing attorney, Mr. Fleming has represented clients in the state and federal trial and appellate courts including arguing and winning cases before The Supreme Court of the United States and United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is Board Certified as a specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
He is a member of the board of directors of the University of Saint Thomas and a former member of the board of advisors for Incarnate Word Academy. He is also a life member and founding director of a director of the Irish Society of Houston and a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. His biography has been published in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.
Mr. Fleming received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston College of Law. A very amateur runner, Mike has as completed five marathons including two in Dublin, Ireland.
He and his wife, Judge Natalie Fleming, have six children and reside in Houston.
