Hired Law firm 2020-2022Scott Tatum is the worst and rudest attorney I've had the displeasure of working with! First let me start that I was getting a divorce due to domestic violence, so I had some PTSD from that situation. He treated me with so much disrespect that I could not remember every occurrence of domestic violence in my 13 year relationship and told me if I fail to remember, I could lose custody of my children. His exact words were "You either remember or lose your kids. Do you want that to happen?" I was the victim, but somehow made me feel like I was in jeopardy of losing my kids. I ended every phone call with him in tears! That was just the beginning of the issues with my case. He expects payment in full before the final hearing, which I paid in JUNE of 2021 right before my hearing that DID take place. It is now APRIL 2022, and my final decree has yet to be filed. Seems like he took my money and now I have to hound his office to get any information about my case. His prior excuses have been high turnover in his office and the took over criminal cases... So now criminals are more important than a domestic violence victim's divorce!! It's absolutely ridiculous! I would NEVER recommend Scott Tatum for anyone!
