My divorce was an expensive drawn out (3 1\2 years and 2 lawyer firms) until I met Kris. When Kris tells you something you can believe him. I was skeptical when he told me he would respond to my messages with in a 24 hour period. The other lawyers made that promise and didn't keep it. Kris did. That's very important when your going through that stressful experience. We finally had to have a forced mediation. Kris was fully prepared and had me prepared as well. I've had the good fortune of living and working internationally including, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. I've seen a lot over the years and have painfully high expectations when it comes to professionalism. That's compounded by the fact that I grew up around attorneys and most of my best friends (out of state) are attorneys as well. I have impossibly high standards. Ally Jamerson has routinely exceeded every last expectation when it comes to professionalism, expertise, experience, tenacity, empathy, respect, and a rock solid work-ethic. Salt Lake City should consider itself lucky to have an attorney of her caliber. Ally is a legal force of nature specializing in family law, civil litigation, and criminal cases. WHY is Ally so good at what she does? 1) Ally listens: I've spent plenty of time around attorney's who treat people like a checklist. They refuse to let you talk. They interrupt. They don't listen because they think they are better than you and want cookie-cutter cases without having to do any of the heavy lifting. Intelligence, in the legal world, does not compensate for laziness. Attorney's that don't listen to prospective clients miss key details and lack the work-ethic to get cases across the finish line. She was able to LISTEN to the complex details of my case and leverage her arsenal of legal experience to tackle my challenges head on. 3) Intelligence: Not only does Ally embody the empathy, kindness, and compassion necessary to be a competent and caring attorney; but she is fiercely intelligent. I work in tech, my friends are all attorneys, and my family works in healthcare. I have impossible expectations when it comes to competence, details, and thorough work. My experience with this law firm was frustrating to say the least. I went through a long, and drawn out divorce/custody battle. Mr. Ross advised me that my case was a slam dunk due to my ex wife’s misbehavior. We lost. I was advised to take the commissioner’s ruling to a judge. We lost. This cost me thousands of dollars and extended my case by several months. After finally settling in mediation and being told that my divorce would be final in 30-45 days, Mr. Ross FAILED TO SUBMIT MY PAPERWORK to the courts. After waiting 45 days I tried to contact Mr. Ross but just got the runaround from several different receptionists who could never give me a clear answer as to what was going on. Finally, a friend of a friend who works for the courts looked up my docket and told me that my PAPERWORK HAD NOT EVEN BEEN SUBMITTED. Needless to say I was furious. Once I finally got ahold of Mr. Ross after 7 different attempts he had the nerve to act like this was somehow the plan all along. I’m disgusted that in my darkest time of life someone to whom I’ve paid my life’s savings would forget about my case. I would not recommend this law firm.
