I spoke with a number of attorneys before meeting with Mark Talley, and he was the first that truly felt like he was on my side. He and Jared worked together on my case, and exceeded my expectations every step of the way. My case may not have been as big as some, but they did not hesitate to take action and ensure I was awarded fairly for my injuries. These two make a great duo, you will always have someone to help answer your questions/concerns in great detail, and above all feel like you have allies in an ever uphill battle. Going at workers comp alone is a tremendous stress if you ask me, and I feel like I made the right choice choosing Jared and Mark for my legal representation. I can not recommend these guys enough, they will absolutely be the first I call should I ever need a workers comp attorney in the future.

The people at Davis and Sanchez really did well. They did all the negotiations and got a great win for me. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing help with fighting for workers compensation.

After 22 years of dealing with Workers Comp of Ut, they decided they would try to deny me further treatment. Even though this was a complicated case, Jared and his wonderful staff took them on, and were able to resolve my issue successfully. Key to success is having kept all my documentation and a bull dog for an attorney. Thank you!

We hired these guys in 2020 to handle a comp case. I settled with the understanding EVERYTHING would be taken care of medical wise that was done prior to settling. TWO years later I’m starting to get bills and I called them to see what’s going on. They said IT WAS MY PROBLEM. Do not hire them. All they care about is themselves.

Hal is awesome and he made sure all my treatments and wages were taken care of in a timely manner. He definitely went above and beyond to help me and I definitely recommend them.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
