Founding partners Sean P. Schmergel and Dennis M. Mersberger opened the practice to provide people in Northern Virginia with a law firm that echoed the traditions of a classic boutique law practice: a careful focus on precise practice areas, strong client relationships, zealous representation, a commitment to problem solving with integrity. Our goal is to provide personalized attention to each of our clients in resolving all manner of divorce and family law, traffic defense and criminal defense legal matters.

- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
