This was a truly difficult year. With no prior experience in legal matters, I initially chose Mr. Doubles for his proximity to the jurisdiction of my case(s). Turned out to be the best decision of the year. His knowledge of the jurisdiction and its legal 'climate' are incredible. Didn't know what to expect from a lawyer, but he's actually pretty straight foward and honest. Doesn't sugar coat anything or build false hopes. I respect that. Made us aware of all possible consequences and outcomes. It's very easy to become frustrated when you don't understand everything or get answers when you want them. But you have to have patience. Great defense attorney. I’m from New Jersey and had some serious traveling to get down to va. Unfortunately got my self in a jam and it could of ended in some serious time. Most of us don't know much about specific attorneys until we need one. I had little knowledge of Mr Doubles before requesting his services. Right out of the gate my wife and I were happy we chose Mac as our lawyer for a contested step parent adoption. We both immediately picked up on his sincere regard for our case. While there are times we felt like it would take forever to hear back from Mac this is, in my experience, just how it is when you are relying on busy court systems and other lawyers. He always communicated with us when he said that he would, and he was never late or ill-prepared for our meetings together. Mac never tried to oversell us on what the results would be and he was always careful to let us know what to expect and what possible outcomes could occur. Mac also served as our lawyer with character, and he refused to take a low road when there seemed to be a lot of opportunity during the trial. This was very important to us as well. Even while taking the high road however, Mac was no timid pushover, and it is clear that he knew the law and local court system well. We did a lot of research on Mac before hiring him as our lawyer, and everyone we spoke with spoke very highly of him as well. It is easy to recommend a lawyer when you get the results you wanted - and we did get the results that we wanted. But my wife and I truly believe that we would still recommend Mac even if the ruling went the other way.

Upon retaining Mac Doubles for my case, he and his staff were extremely professional and moreover friendly and easy to talk with. Anytime I called to either ask questions with regards to my case or get in touch with Mac he was always accommodating to speak with me, if not in the office at the time he would return my call promptly even the same day which was greatly appreciated.
