Patrick J. Sullivan - Virginia Beach, VA

Patrick J. Sullivan represents clients with Divorce and Family Law legal matters in the courts of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Eastern Shore and other Tidewater and Virginia communities. He is proud to serve his community’s legal needs and does so with passion.

Patrick attended Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida, where he later became a Public Defender serving Orange and Seminole Counties. Upon returning to Virginia Beach in 2007, he expanded his practice to the areas of Family Law and Civil litigation, while continuing to succeed in the areas of Criminal and Traffic defense. Mr. Sullivan enjoys being in the courtroom and has experience in General District Court, Circuit Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, and even the Virginia Court of Appeals. The primary goal of his practice is to explain the “whys” of the legal matter to his clients and bring his considerable experience and knowledge of local courts to bear in crafting solutions.

Patrick’s father, retired Lt. Commander William J. Sullivan, moved the family to Virginia Beach in 1984. Patrick graduated from Cox High School in 1995 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College in 1999. Patrick resides in Virginia Beach with his wife and three children.
