Michael J. Lund is a shareholder at Cook & Franke. A substantial part of Mr. Lund's practice has been in the areas of real estate, real estate finance and commercial transactions.

Mr. Lund has represented financial institutions and businesses in asset purchase and stock purchase transactions. He has also represented both financial institutions and investors in local and multi-state real estate acquisitions, construction and development financing, leases and refinancing related to office buildings, office parks, shopping centers, grocery stores, hotel and resort properties, multi-family housing and condominium developments. He has served as national real estate counsel for a developer of multi-family and office properties. Mr. Lund has represented public and private sector clients in real estate matters, including development, leasing, acquisitions, and environmental issues. He has represented clients in dealings with local municipalities on zoning, development, and assessment matters. Mr. Lund is a frequent speaker on financial institution and UCC issues.

Mr. Lund is a member of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin and American Bar Associations, participating in several sections and committees dealing with real estate, construction, and financial institutions issues.

Mr. Lund received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Ripon College. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
