Attorney Information

Overview

The most important part of my job isn't drafting documents or appearing in court—it's listening.

Every estate plan tells the story of a family. Every probate matter represents the life of someone who was deeply loved. Every dispute involves people who are trying to navigate some of life's most difficult moments. Before I can offer legal advice, I believe it's my responsibility to understand your story, your concerns, and what matters most to you. My goal is simple: I want every client to leave my office feeling heard, understood, and confident that they have someone in their corner.

For more than 14 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most significant transitions. My practice is focused primarily on estate planning, probate and estate administration, fiduciary matters, business planning, and mediation.

Whether I'm helping a family create an estate plan that provides peace of mind, guiding a personal representative through the probate process, or assisting loved ones as they care for an aging family member, I strive to provide practical legal guidance with patience, empathy, and honesty. One of the things I enjoy most about practicing law is helping people find solutions. While conflict is sometimes unavoidable, I believe many disputes can be resolved in ways that preserve relationships, reduce unnecessary stress, and keep families focused on what matters most. I work collaboratively with my clients to understand not only the legal issues they face, but also the personal goals they hope to achieve.

In 2026, I earned my mediation certification, expanding my ability to help clients resolve disputes thoughtfully and efficiently. Throughout my career, I have been honored to teach continuing legal education programs and professional seminars on estate administration, trusts, and fiduciary matters, allowing me to share practical knowledge with fellow attorneys and other professionals.

I am licensed to practice law in Alabama and Georgia and am admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. I am a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Lee County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Georgia.

When I'm away from the office, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our two boys. I'm a proud Auburn fan, I enjoy building LEGO creations, and you'll most often find me on the sidelines as a devoted Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu "mat mom," cheering on my sons as they compete.

Those moments remind me every day that the people I represent are much more than clients—they're parents, children, spouses, siblings, and caregivers who simply want to do what's best for the people they love. Life doesn't always go according to plan. When it doesn't, you deserve an attorney who will take the time to listen, help you understand your options, and walk beside you every step of the way. If that's the kind of representation you're looking for, I would be honored to help.
