Not only is Shane Seaborn one of the most knowledgeable attorneys we've ever met, but he's also the type of guy that clients would easily call their friend. He resides in Clayton, Alabama, with his wife, Anna Hamm Seaborn, and their three children Sloane, Slade, and Sophie. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He then went on to graduate at Jones School of Law. Being no stranger to hard work, Shane also held a full-time job throughout law school.
Throughout his career Shane has gleaned a unique perspective as an attorney by representing both plaintiffs and defendants. His ability to see a case from two different view points has given him the knowledge of many different aspects of the legal system. His distinctive outlook has proven very helpful to his clients.
While practicing law, Shane has been vital to cases ranging anywhere from $500.00 to 21 million dollars. Shane has played a key role in numerous cases over the course of his career that have resulted in substantial verdicts and settlements for those he's represented. He has been involved in numerous personal injury cases that have been tried and settled for tens of millions of dollars. He is extremely skilled and proficient in many types of cases including but not limited to: personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and fraud claims.
Over his years in the legal field he has been a key player in several successful state and local campaigns, both judicial and legislative. Shane is admitted to practice in all state courts of Alabama, as well as the Northern, Middle, and Southern districts of Federal Court in Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the American Association for Justice, the Alabama Association for Justice, and the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation. He served as the 2003-2004 president of the Third Judicial Bar Association, which is comprised of Barbour and Bullock Counties. Shane is also a member of the Editorial board of Alabama Association for Justice Journal. He has been recognized by the Montgomery Advertiser as one of the "Leading 40 Under 40" which serves to honor young central Alabama business leaders for their successful careers. His involvement in so many different areas of the legal community continues to be an advantage for Penn & Seaborn and the clients they represent.
In his personal time Shane enjoys spending time with family and friends. He and his family are members at Louisville Baptist Church, and they are closely involved with numerous service and charitable organizations throughout his hometown and other areas of Alabama.
