West was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2022. She earned her law degree – the first in her family – in 2022 from the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa. While in law school, she served as Executive Articles Editor of the school’s Law & Psychology Review. She was an Advocate on a National Environmental Law Moot Court team that earned national recognition, and she was also a Member of the Alabama Law Moot Court Board.
