Overview
I was born in New Haven, Connecticut shortly before moving to New Orleans, Louisiana where I was raised. In 1995, I moved to Mobile, Alabama. I attended and graduated from Murphy High School in 1998. In 2002, I joined the United States Air Force and served until 2006. During my military time, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland UC and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2004. After my separation from the Air Force, I decided that I wanted to attend Law School and attended Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama, graduating in May of 2011. After graduation, I opened my solo private practice, specializing in General areas of the law including Probate matters, criminal matters, and some estate planning. In 2019, I began working for a Civil Defense firm where I handled matters involving personal injury and premises liability. In September 2021, I began working with Gardberg and Kemmerly helping individuals and veterans. As a veteran, being able to help other veterans is something that is very special and important to me.About Gregory A. Eldridge

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
