Matt has worked as a personal injury attorney since 2009. He has represented hundreds of clients, tried numerous cases to verdict in front of judges and juries in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.

Matt attended the University of Alabama School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While a student, he worked for the school’s Capital Litigation Clinic, which aided in the representation of indigent criminal defendants facing the death penalty.

Educational and Personal Background

Earlier, as an undergraduate at Auburn University, Matt was a student assistant for the men’s basketball team. In that capacity, he was a member of Auburn’s 2003 Sweet 16 team. Matt remains an active member of the Auburn Men’s Basketball Letterman’s Club.

Matt was born and raised on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay and has deep roots in the area going back many generations. He and his wife Jennifer decided to continue his family’s tradition and raise their three children in Daphne, Alabama. Matt and his family attend Christ the King Church. In his free time, he likes to play and coach basketball, watch sports, and spend time with his family.
