Kasey Hancock Hall - Opelika, AL

Kasey is an attorney at Agricola Law who has extensive experience working alongside Barbi on multiple cases and projects. As a dedicated advocate with experience supporting matters through every stage of litigation, Kasey brings a strong foundation in legal research, written and oral advocacy, case preparation, and client representation to the firm.

Kasey's connection to Agricola Law began well before joining the firm as an attorney. She first worked with the firm as an intern while completing her undergraduate education at Auburn University, and she later returned as a legal assistant before attending law school. During that time, she gained hands-on experience assisting with trial and hearing preparation, coordinating with clients and witnesses, managing court filings and case deadlines, and supporting attorneys as cases moved through the litigation process. That early exposure to the practice of law, and particularly to the preparation, strategy, and attention to detail required in litigation, helped shape her decision to pursue a career as an attorney.

Kasey earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she distinguished herself as an accomplished oral advocate and active member of the Moot Court Board. Throughout law school, she compiled an impressive record in both moot court and mock trial competitions. During her first year, she advanced to the quarterfinals of the Freshman Moot Court Competition and received a Top Advocate award. During her second year, she was also named Top Advocate in the Advanced Moot Court Competition. She subsequently received the Outstanding Oral Advocacy Award and advanced to the semifinals of the Mock Trial Competition. In recognition of her excellence in both written and oral advocacy, Kasey was selected as a recipient of the Robert L. J. Spence, Jr. Moot Court Award. Her extensive competition experience and demonstrated advocacy skills reflect her strong commitment to effective and persuasive legal representation.

Throughout law school, Kasey continued developing practical litigation experience in addition to her academic advocacy work. As a legal assistant with a criminal defense practice, she assisted with drafting and filing motions, monitoring court filings and deadlines, and handling other matters involved in the day-to-day management of active cases. She also served as a legal extern with Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation, where she conducted extensive legal research involving regulatory compliance, patient privacy, employment law, and other complex legal issues. These experiences strengthened her ability to analyze complicated factual and legal questions and approach each matter with careful preparation and attention to detail.

While at Auburn University, Kasey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice, with a minor in Social Work. Her background in both law and social work informs the way she approaches representation: understanding that effective advocacy requires not only a command of the law, but also an understanding of the people whose lives are affected by it.

After beginning her legal career with Agricola Law years earlier, Kasey realized how much she loved and missed the incredible work at Agricola Law. She, her husband, and her dog, Leo (named after Leonardo DiCaprio because he's just as handsome), moved back to the Opelika area and are so excited to be here. Kasey is proud to return to the firm as an attorney and to serve clients in the Auburn-Opelika community and beyond.
