Hired Attorney 2022-2023Nathan a Finch is a highly incompetent unorganized, unprepared, unknowledgeable, bankruptcy, lawyer. Warning warning do not hire this highly incompetent lawyer. He charges $500 an hour and gives you absolutely no assistance in your defense. He actually goes out of his way to help the plaintiff lawyer in his fraudulent lawsuit. Finch is a total idiot and you would be much better off hiring the plaintiff’s lawyer to represent you or to represent yourself. Again do not hire this highly incompetent worthless idiot lawyer.

Hired Attorney 2023-2024WARNING DO NOT HIRE THIS HIGHLY INCOMPETENT LAWYER , he lacks basic bankruptcy knowledge, is totally unprepared, disorganized and does everything in his power to assist the plaintiff (NACH) in extorting money from innocent defendants on a totally meritless, baseless bogus, fraudulent lawsuit. I paid this incompetent lawyer $500 an hour and he gave me absolutely NO representation, in fact assisted greatly the unscrupulous plaintiff in extorting a large amount of money from me. I gave my X lawyer (FINCH) 3 AZ certified appraisals which he totally ignored them and went with the 100% FRAUDULENT appraisal provided by the slimy plaintiff (NACH) even after I pointed out over 40 fraudulent errors, lies and false information on his appraisal report. He never supported me on my certified appraisals and FINCH was NOT familiar with a basic concept in bankruptcy law called reasonable equivalent value (REV) and never took a few minutes to review my appraisals and the errors on the plaintiffs FRAUDULENT appraisal. FINCH never took the time to calculate that I actually owed no money to the BK estate under the BK laws but instead assisted NACH in the well planned extortion. FINCH is a terrible unqualified unprepared and worthless lawyer. I think you would be far better off to have the slimy plaintiff represent you instead of FINCH. As a side note this incompetent lawyer has been put on probation by the AZ State Bar. He should be disbarred for being so incompetent. I think he would make a great timeshare salesman. I would absolutely NOT recommend this highly incompetent lawyer to my worst enemy. Be warned if you want a bankruptcy lawyer stay clear of NATHAN A FINCH and the CROSS LAW FIRM. Giving this lawyer and the Cross law firm a 1 rating is far to high. They deserves a -5.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
