Attorney Information
Overview
Theron M Hall, Jr. (aka Tim) learned early in life the need of proper management of estates for their preservation. Born and raised in Apache County, Arizona, Tim worked for his parents' title company as a youth, where he gained a lasting appreciation for those who work hard to acquire their estates. Now, as an estate planning attorney, protecting his clients' future through quality legal service has become his hallmark.
After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University, Tim earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago. During his legal studies, he was employed as a research associate with the American Bar Foundation. He is currently a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Iowa State Bar Association.
During his four years as an officer in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the U.S. Navy, Tim gained extensive criminal trial experience and began preparing trusts and other estate planning documents for servicemen. When he returned to Arizona to practice, he continued his emphasis on helping clients preserve their assets.
Tim provides a high level of skill and knowledge to planning for those of high net worth with complex estates. A complex estate requires advance forms of estate planning such as LLCs, FLLPs, ILITs, QPRTs, GRATs and more.
Advanced estate planning helps individuals and families of considerable wealth to detour unnecessary taxes that can drastically reduce their estate. These estates are affected by a combination of at least four taxes: Estate tax, Generation-skipping transfer tax, Gift tax and income tax. Tim helps these clients take advantage of lifetime leveraging with advanced estate planning tools, thereby reducing the tax costs to the estate.
Advances estate planning incorporates business succession planning strategies to help you ensure your business is preserved both during your life and thereafter. Tim Hall has helped families with humble or substantial estates to protect their assets, businesses and their legacy for their loved ones.
Tim is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys (AAEPA). Acknowledged by his peers with the highest rating an attorney can earn, Tim received an AV peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
