Consulted Law firm 2023-2025I am not surprised at the ratings for this law firm. None of the Attorneys appear to be licensed to practice law in Arizona, I've looked them up, probably because their main offices are in Utah. I am currently "in battle" with them with an on-going court case, yet their collections branch (the above address as far as I can tell) was on the phone ther other day trying to collect! I wil be reportng them under the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) for their violation. It is again a case of trying to collect a fraudulent debt that appears to have been formed through the Dark Web. One of the attorneys on my case is now using the address of another law firm to continue the case against me but is still unable to come up with the paperwork I have requested from them. If they contact you, talk with them long enough to find out what it is about, then tell them you are getting an attorney and hang up. Then get an attorney because they will try anything short of being illegal to get the money they have been hired to get!

Consulted Law firm 2022-2024I would definitely hire an attorney when dealing with this debt collector. As you read through the other complaints just keep in mind you’re not dealing with a normal business- There trying to take my SSI Check

Consulted Law firm 2023-2024For a company that tries so hard to get paid, they make it very hard to get paid! First, they send someone to your front door to give you a forged legal document, this only gives you ten days before they actually file with the courts. Their website refers you to their phone number, the phone number refers you to their website. If you call nobody answers. You have the option to have them call you back, which only takes you back to the main menu. Or you can leave a message. Either way nobody returns your phone call. The website e-mail sends an automated failure notice. So, the only way to make a payment is to maybe, possibly, perhaps go directly to their office, which I wouldn't do if I was in their line of work. But I can't do that because I live three hours away. Or you can send a check snail mail. Good luck!

Hired Law firm 2023-2026This firm has illegally garnished by wages. I have a court agreement that I will pay $200 per month and have that $200 taken out of my account once per month. They have now garnished by wages at the rate of $381.85 every two weeks. This should be stopped.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
