Verified ClientHired Law firm 2023-2024I was out of town in Arizona for work when I was unexpectedly involved in an accident. Dealing with injuries and trying to stay focused on recovery so I could get back to work was already enough—but navigating insurance and legal issues on top of that? Overwhelming. That’s when I found Lloyd Baker Injury Attorneys, and I’m so glad I did. Lloyd and his team stepped in and handled all the frustrating insurance red tape so I didn’t have to worry. They were professional, responsive, and truly had my back through the entire process. I could focus on healing while they got to work—and in the end, they got everything resolved. I’m incredibly grateful for their hard work and support during a stressful time. Highly recommend!

Hired Law firm 2021WOULD NOT RECOMMEND-Very disappointing. My attorney was extremely incompetent in my injury case, and when I showed them why they completely dropped me and still thought I owed them for the time they put in, knowing she failed miserably. I hope they fired her as she is better off as a potential Secretary, however the bottom line is THEY DID NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CLIENT whom they had an agreement with, then terminated the contract and left me hanging. There are many superior law firms out there who do a much better job. They are riding off the name, which is sad, as I spoke with Mr. Baker who knew her performance was inadequate, and instead of taking care of me, he tucked his tail and ran. Terrible law firm

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
