Attorney Information

Overview

Raised in Arizona and spending his college years in Los Angeles, Michael Erike is a versatile attorney with a unique background in finance, business law, and the creative arts. Before pursuing law, he earned a degree in finance with a minor in business law from Loyola Marymount University and later received his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.

Michael’s decision to enter the legal field was sparked by curiosity—after stumbling upon a Stanford Law School webpage during college, he became captivated by the structure of legal education and the potential of a legal career. That spark evolved into a deep commitment to advocating for others and helping clients navigate some of life’s most complex transitions.

At Gravis Law PLLC, Michael focuses his practice on business law, estate planning, and business litigation. He thrives on the immediate impact his work has on clients—whether he’s helping someone launch a business, resolve a partnership dispute, or prepare a trust that protects a family’s legacy. His ability to balance legal guidance with practical empathy has made him a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and families alike.

Michael approaches the attorney-client relationship with the belief that law is both a profession and a vocation. Clients often describe him as both their attorney and therapist—someone who listens without judgment and brings calm clarity to overwhelming situations. He sees great value in simply being present and reminding clients that someone is in their corner.

Professionally, Michael is proud of negotiating for high-profile digital media clients and confidently navigating conversations with agents and legal teams. Personally, he finds purpose in advocating for others and providing peace of mind through careful planning and strong communication.

Outside of his legal work, Michael is an avid filmmaker and storyteller. Alongside his brother Jaric, he’s a vocal supporter of Arizona’s growing arts and film community. The two have produced a range of films throughout the Valley and continue to use their creativity to build connections in the community.

When he’s not in the office or behind a camera, Michael enjoys watching movies, writing scripts, and spending time with his close-knit circle of family and friends.
