Overview
Garrett earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where he assisted military veterans in both criminal and civil cases. He served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Arizona Law Review, which published his Note, "In a Class of Its Own: A Statutory Solution for the Gendered Sentencing Disparity in Teacher-Student Sexual Assault." While in law school, Garrett externed for Magistrate Judge Kimmins at the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
During his free time, Garrett plays professional ultimate frisbee for the San Diego Growlers and serves as Assistant Coach for the University of Arizona's club team. He also enjoys exploring the diverse food culture that Tucson has to offer.
