Overview
Prior to founding the Clark Law Firm, PLLC, located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Suzanne G. Clark was an attorney at the largest national law firm in the state, where she gained significant experience in a wide range of civil litigation. She handles complex business, civil, labor and family law cases with a deep sense of commitment and skill, having special corporate experience to assist in intellectual property cases as well as commercial litigation.
Ms. Clark received Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Connecticut and was awarded her Juris Doctor summa cum laude by the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2008. Prior to her legal career, she worked in the semiconductor industry as a process engineer and then in senior management, which provided her with valuable first-hand insights into various business affairs. In 2013, Ms. Clark was appointed by Governor Beebe to serve as a special associate justice on a case appearing before the Arkansas Supreme Court. The Arkansas Supreme Court appointed Ms. Clark to the Civil Practice Committee in 2014. Admitted to practice before all state and federal Arkansas courts, Ms. Clark is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Clark has been very active the in the Arkansas Bar Association and was elected by its state-wide membership to serve as its President for 2018-2019, after having served in its House of Delegates and the Board of Governors
Ms. Clark maintains an active teaching profile, having taught products liability as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law as well as a skills course in litigating medical negligence claims. She is a former member of the board of directors of the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center, and she serves on the board of trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library. As a contributor to several distinguished publications, including the Encyclopedia of the Supreme Court of the United States, she maintains an active role as a writer for prominent journals.
