Attorney Information

Overview

I was raised in Elkins, Arkansas, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to help others during difficult times. After earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith, I moved to Central Arkansas to attend the William H. Bowen School of Law—and fell in love with the area that I now call home.

Since becoming licensed to practice law in Arkansas, I have focused my practice on family law, guardianships, and domestic relations. I serve as both Attorney Ad Litem for children and as Parent Counsel for parents involved in Department of Human Services matters. These roles allow me to advocate for families from multiple perspectives and to ensure that the best interests of children remain at the heart of every case.

As a parent myself, I understand that family law issues are often deeply emotional and personal. My approach is grounded in empathy, communication, and practical guidance to help clients navigate challenges and work toward stability and healing.

Outside of the courtroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, attending sporting events, and cheering on my favorite teams—the Arkansas Razorbacks, Green Bay Packers, and St. Louis Cardinals. I also serve as an Area Representative for the Young Lawyers Section of the Arkansas Bar Association, where I enjoy connecting with and supporting other attorneys across the state.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
